I have seen God work powerfully in my life to transform me into his image. I've experienced his faithfulness when I didn’t deserve it. I’ve encountered his healing love, grace, and mercy when I needed them most. I’ve been continually reproved, corrected, and guided by his loving sanctification, leading to wonderful fruit in my life. I’ve been empowered by his presence and the Holy Spirit to equip me to walk out the calling we are all called to, even though I’m incapable of doing so on my own. Last but not least, I’ve learned to take all these things I’ve learned and experienced and apply them in practical ways, walking them out in this natural world. Just like everyone else, I’m nothing more than a broken sinner in this fallen world, but by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ I’ve been saved and given an identity that cannot be changed or taken away. I’ve been healed of the pain, struggles, and hurt of this world. I’ve been given a purpose and calling to walk out in this life, and I’ve been equipped to do everything asked of me. I’m not perfect, and I still fall short, but thanks to his grace and forgiveness, I don’t have to live a life of shame, sin, and regret. With submission, faith, and obedience, I can continue to move forward in the identity, calling, and power he’s called me to.
